  7. This is the README.TXT  file for Mocha Pocket Telnet
  8.  
  9. Mocha Pocket Telnet is an application for the Palm Computing (R) Platform.
  10.  
  11. Mocha Pocket Telnet makes it possible to connect to an UNIX host with 
  12. the TCP/IP/TELNET protocol and emulate a VT220 terminal.
  13.  
  14. This product can only be used with PALM OS 3.x or newer.
  15.  
  16. You Palm Pilot must have access to a PPP network. Either with a
  17. modem or a cable connected direct to a host with PPP support. It
  18. is not possible to use the HotSync software to get a connection
  19. to an UNIX Host.

  34.     - unpack files with a zip utility, into a temporary catalog.
  35.     - load telnet.pdb to the Pocket Pilot, using HotSync. No files
  36.       should be installed on the PC.

  38. *** Limitations ***
  39.  
  40.     As to the limited screen and keyboard on a PalmPilot organizer
  41.     following limitations compared to a real VT220 terminal
  42.     has been implemented:
  43.  
  44.     - Supports only PALM OS 3.x or later. 
  45.     - only 24*80 screen mode
  46.     - no support for large character set
  47.     - no support for print
  48.     - no support for blink/increased intensity or underscored
  49.     - no support for keypad and editing keys (can be defined as macros)
  50.     - no support for serial connection. "Only" TCP/IP is possible.

  54.     On the Pilot, Tap the Menu button, and select APP - Delete
